Day #3 - Parentals
Day #3 - Describe your relationship with your parents.
I have an awesome relationship with both my parents. They are both definitely in the best friend category. I would choose to hang out with my parents over a lot of people. They're hilarious, they love me unconditionally, they do everything they can for me, & they think that I'm funny ;) lol. I am so grateful that I have a good relationship with my parents. I have never really given them any grief, so I'm kinda the favorite child (sorry siblings.. You know it's true! ;]) Sometimes people get offended when you tell them that they're like their parents, but to me, that's a huge compliment. My mom knows everything. & if she doesn't know, she'll look it up. She is so productive & creative & always has the best ideas. I'll be happy if one day I'm half as awesome as her. My dad has the biggest heart of anyone I know. He is so giving & so good with kids. He's gonna be an awesome grandpa one day :)
okay, so maybe I'm not so great at this whole blogging EVERYDAY thing.. lol. I feel like I should shoot for something more realistic.. like more than once a week. So let's play catch up once again.. :)
This past weekend was awesome. I worked on Friday, then after work I went to Kade's & Boonie picked us up to go hang out at T's. We got sonic & hung out & talked for a while outside, then we went up to watch something. They decided to introduce me to Game of Thrones. I'm constantly hearing how awesome that show is, but nothing really fully prepared me for that. That show was just wayyy too much for me. Won't be watching that again. lol.
Saturday I had this awesome idea to borrow Scotty so he could dye easter eggs with Kade & I. So Kade came over & we got everything ready. We got confetti eggs along with egg dying stuff, and stuff to make rice krispie eggs. Kayla & Em went with Kade scotty and & to lunch. That kid is just tooo much. He told La, "Come over here, I needa give you a kiss on the lips!" I told him that you're not supposed to ask to kiss a girl. you just do it. hahah. We spent the afternoon dying eggs, having a confetti egg fight in the backyard, playing hungry hungry hippos, and getting completely covered in dirt from head to toe. It was a lot of fun, but that kid has some serious energy. When we went to drop him off at home, we ended up staying and talking to his parents for like 3 hours. They're hilarious. Were gonna go to dinner with them sometime next week. I love that Kade & I have so many couple friends. It's awesome. After the Darrington's, we watched the first Star Wars movie, cause apparently it is just absurd that I haven't seen any of them. Too bad we both fell asleep 15 minutes in & woke up for like the last 15 minutes. Oops. Maybe we'll try again later. lol.
Sunday I listened to Conference on my phone then hung out with my dad for a lil bit, then Kade surprised me & came over :) Surprises are kinda my favorite, so I was excited. We watched Justified for a while & Gloria made sure to tell me that Conference said that it's time to get married.. lol. Thanks bestf. hah. I went to Kade's for dinner and it was delicious. I have no idea what it's called, but it was wayyyy good. Kade, his mom & I played skip-bo (they won, I didn't) and then we went to Patty's for game night.
Monday I had class all morning, then worked til 9:30. It was a long day, to say the least. but I did get a solid nap in while the kids watched Rango. Does that make me a bad nanny? I'm gonna go with no ;) I watched the NCAAMBB Championship game with Zach too. He was so excited that Kentucky won.
I found this the next day. Poor AD. someone needs to help hin out with his unibrow situation. lol

Yesterday I wrote a history paper all morning, then last night after work Kade & I went to Jay & Kristen's to play. (NIght class? What's that? ;]) Jason & Jnet were over there too. It's always a good time with them.

#2 - Scaredy Cat
Challenge #2
Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.
1. Hydrophobia - fear of water. Tom, my mom's best friend and like a second dad to me, drown out at the lake while I was there when I was 12. Worst experience of my life & I still think about him all the time. He was such a genuine person & always willing to help. He was awesome. I am also a terrible swimmer. So open water or pool, I don't like to swim very much.
2. Trypanophobia - fear of needles. I wasn't scared of shots when I was little. I never even cried. So I'm not sure how or exactly when it happened, but I am sooo scared of needles and shots. My mom had to lie to me about how many shots I needed to get me to go get my final ones before college. I'm a baby, I know.
3. Merinthophobia - fear of being bound or tied up, I absolutely hate when my hands are held down. It freaks me out so bad when I can't move.

The past few days...
Monday through Wednesday I am always super busy with work and school.
Work hasn't been anything too exciting lately except for the fact that my lil 4 year old, Connor, now says "Thank you my lady" every time I do anything for him. He's hilarious. I have hated school this semester except my ASL class. I'm taking 2 history classes, a psych class, ASL 2, and deaf survey. My psych class is always EXTREMELY uncomfortable for me because my teacher is a lil too... open?.. for my liking. She talks about the most uncomfortable things and I'm not a fan. My history teacher talks about nothing relevant to any test that we will ever have, so that's always fun. I cannot wait until next semester when I will only be taking ASL classes. That will be awesomeeee.
Kade has been teaching me about baseball lately because I know absolutely nothing. I actually enjoy watching it :) but apparently my theory about how I know it's a strike when you can hear it hit the glove really clearly isn't quite right... hahaha. Kade just laughs at me. A for effort though right? ;)
So Chrissy's sister Jenna is in town with her three darlinggg kids & I got to hang out with them today for a lil while. They are just too much fun :) & look at this cute lil boy?! how can you not love that face?

Really quick before work.. :)
List 20 random facts about yourself
1. It freaks me out when my hands get dirty.
2. I won't eat gummy candy or fruit snacks cause I don't like the texture
3. I looovveeee the stars & moon.
4. I am the 4th of 5 kids.
5. I love baking & cooking, but I'm a pretty picky eater.
6. My right ankle constantly pops.
7. My ideal outfit is a pair of jeans and a plain colored t-shirt with some vans.
8. My major is American Sign Language & it's the only class I look forward to regularly.
9. My dad has about an 90 decibel hearing loss & is considered to be "profoundly deaf" so I am technically a CODA(Child Of a Deaf Adult). Yes, I still constantly yell "DAD," at him until I realize I'm yelling at a deaf guy. lol.
10. I think I am the funniest person ever.
11. I love word games & they're about the only kind of games I am competitive about.
12. I am a nanny. I don't know how people have "real" (boring) jobs. My job is so much fun! :)
13. I've played soccer since I was way young, & I played volleyball all throughout high school. But I was never really competitive though.
14. I hate when my ice cubes stick together.
15. Dry cotton balls freak me out. I usually make someone else take off my nail polish. (I just got the goosebumps thinking about them. Gross.)
16. To me, littering is the mother of all sins.
17. I get the hiccups ALL THE TIME. not normal.
18. I prefer Taco bell drinks. They have skinny straws & squishy plastic cups. THE BEST.
19. I know I'm a terrible person, but I hate pets. They just get everything dirty. I will never have them.

let's start fresh.
Okay, I know it's been forever since I blogged, plus I decided to start a new one.. Oops. I've just been soooo busy with school & work that's it's been insane. But let's see.. Life is pretty much awesome. I'm getting good grades, I love my job, I have the best boyfriend I could possibly ask for, I'm buying a super cute & nice car within the week, & Kade's home ward is much better than the single's ward. There are no kids in the single's ward. Kinda a dealbreaker. lol. Here are some pictures of things that have been going on. I realized as of late, that I'm kinda obsessed with kids. I go to work & nanny, then I come home & play with kids in my family. Then I babysit on my days off. For fun & for free. Not complaining one bit though. I love it :)

So my step sister has been coming over almost every week for dinner on sunday. That means lots of time with my cute lil niece Lily :)

My favvorrriittteee elementary school teacher came into town about a month ago and I got to hang out with her and her cute family for a while. Her kids are just too sweet & it was so good to catch up with her. That's Maddy, she's just the cutest cheerleader :)
